Shares of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) gained more than 5 per cent today after the company said it signed a pact with Air India to develop land parcels at various locations on joint venture basis.
NBCC surged 5.47 per cent to settle at Rs 877.60 on the BSE. In intra-day trade, it soared 7.79 per cent to Rs 896.95.
At the NSE, it climbed 5.45 per cent to close at Rs 878.

The company's market valuation rose by Rs 546.2 crore to Rs 10,531.20 crore.
On the volume front, 5.26 lakh shares of the company changed hands at the BSE, while more than 24 lakh shares were traded at the NSE during the day.
In a filing to the BSE, National Buildings Construction Corporation said, "MOU has been signed between Air India & NBCC for development of land parcels of Air India at various locations on joint venture basis.
