Shares of state-owned NBCC today surged over 5 per cent as the company has bagged a Rs 1,500-crore order from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
The stock gained 5.11 per cent to settle at Rs 927 on BSE. Intra-day, it surged 5.89 per cent to Rs 933.90.
On NSE, shares of the company ended at Rs 927.15, up 5 per cent.

DDA has handed NBCC the project for development of Lake View Complex, based on Transit Oriented Development (TOD) norms, on 25 acres at Trilokpuri in Delhi, the construction major said in a BSE filing.
The estimated cost of construction will be about Rs 1,500 crore, it said.
The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) will be doing project management consultancy, marketing and sales of the said project, it added.
NBCC, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Urban Development, provides project management consultancy services for construction projects, civil infrastructure for the power sector and real estate development.
