The decision to reintroduce the service was adopted in the last meeting of the corporation that was held on October 3 in presence of the chairman and North Bengal Development minister, Gautam Deb.
Managing Director of NBSTC, C Murugan said that an old double-decker bus has been thoroughly renovated and painted.
Earlier these buses used to ply on Sonapur route. This time it will ply between Cooch Behar and Alipurduar or Cooch Behar and Mathabhanga, he said.
