National Conference today exhorted the party cadres to gear up for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls in 2014 to help the party register a thumping victory.
"A massive mandate was imperative for political stability of Jammu and Kashmir," NC's provincial president Devender Singh Rana said while addressing prominent party functionaries of Darhal and Rajouri.
"A strong government holds key to meeting political aspirations and developmental needs of the people," Rana said.

NC is committed to the agenda set for securing and safeguarding political rights of the people, besides ensuring faster socio-economic development of the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
He, however, cautioned people against elements inimical to unity in the state, saying they were employing all "deceptive tactics" to create wedge between various segments of the society.
Stressing the need for further empowering party workers in decision making, Rana said NC has devised a multi-layer mechanism to seek the feedback of people for ensuring overall development and improving delivery system.
