He said the Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag road was one of the major projects in the district and once completed, the road will not only connect the district with the Valley but will also provide an alternative highway to the state.
The road will also open new avenues of economy and development for the district, he added.
He also drew the attention of the Chief Minister towards the deplorable road condition of Batote-Kisthwar highway, especially from Doda to Kishtwar.
