In a communication to the Legislative Council Secretary, Bakaya alleged that Khan prior to the scheduled meeting of the House committee on July 18 hurled accusations against him in "the most indecent and vulgar" language and even manhandled him.
"I believe, by his (Khan's) most unbecoming behaviour, bullying tactics and use of abusive and indecent language and physical assault against me, my privilege as a Member of the Legislative Council has been breached," Bakaya said in the letter, which was released here today.
Meanwhile, NC Legislature Party in the Council strongly condemned the episode and decided that it would vigorously pursue the privilege motion moved by Bakaya.
