The National Cricket Academy could be converted to a High Performance Centre and may even be shifted out of the Karnataka capital if the required land is not provided by the state government.
Talks to this effect took place in the NCA meeting in Delhi held yesterday, a committee member told PTI today.
"A thought process is there to move the NCA, which is to become the High Performance Cricket Centre, out of Bengaluru, to Mohali or Himachal or even Pune as we are not being able to get the land allotted to the the High Performance Centre in Bengaluru," the member said.

"Weatherwise all these three centres are fine, so to speak of, and they would be ideal for the proposed High Performance Centre. A suggestion to this effect would be forwarded to the Board's Working Committee for its approval," the source added.
Bengaluru-based NCA has been in the news for wrong reasons of late as it was being used more as a rehabilitation centre by injured players.
