The NCP today accused the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of violating the Constitutional provisions while making appointments in his office.

NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik said that six persons had been appointed in the Chief Minister's Office in violation of Maharashtra civil rules, which are based on the Article 309 of the Indian Constitution.

These appointments were not made through MPSC, he said, demanding that the government come clean on the issue.
