The two-day national executive and convention of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will be held in Patna from June 9.

The meeting coincides with the party's 16th foundation day.

The national executive meeting will take place on June 9 followed by election of national president and convention on June 10, party spokesman Nawab Malik said.

The meeting is expected to deliberate on the national political scenario and the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections slated later this year, he said.

Tariq Anwar is the lone MP of the Sharad Pawar-led from Bihar and the party will contest the Assembly polls in the state, Malik added.
