NCP has decided to field Sarang Patil and Satish Chavan for the election to Maharashtra Legislative Council from Pune graduate and Aurangabad graduate constituencies, respectively.
The election is being held to fill the vacancies created by the retirement of members whose terms expire on July 19.
Satish Chavan is a sitting MLC; he has been renominated for Aurangabad graduate constituency, party sources said.
