The National Council for Teaching Education (NCTE) today launched a call centre for teachers, students and other stakeholders to help them get information regarding the organisation and lodge complaints, grievances pertaining to it.
"The centre is aimed to provide a platform to all the stakeholders i.E. Students, teachers and the general public to seek any clarification regarding working of the NCTE, application for the recognition of teacher education institutions, teacher education courses and any other issues including any complaints or grievances pertaining to NCTE," said a statement.
NCTE is an autonomous body under the HRD Ministry engaged in development of teacher education and providing affiliation to institutions offering courses on teacher education.

If the information sought is not available at the centre, the caller will be connected to the four Regional Offices of the NCTE in Jaipur, Bangalore, Bhopal, and Bhubaneshwar.
