The National Commission for Women (NCW) today said it would probe the case relating to the alleged misbehaviour of a police officer who posed indecent questions when a gangrape victim approached him to register a complaint.
A three member team, led by Commission member Sushma Sahu will probe the case, which was registered by NCW on the basis of media reports and a complaint by Mahila Morcha state president Renuka Suresh, a release from state BJP said today.
The gang rape victim had recently alleged that a police officer had 'misbehaved' with her by asking indecent questions relating to the gruesome crime when she had come to the police station to file her complaint.

The officer was later suspended on the orders of the state DGP.
The woman had alleged before the media that she was raped by four persons, including two CPI(M) functionaries two years ago and they continued to harass her.
She was also forced to withdraw her statement.
The NCW said it was viewing 'seriously' the increasing atrocities against womenin Kerala which would be brought to the Centre's notice.
