Praising the performance of NDA government, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said that it is for the first time in the country that a regime has risen over politics and is focussing on development.

"This is for the first time in the country that a government has risen over politics and is focussing on development," Naqvi told a media management workshop of Madhya Pradesh BJP's state spokespersons.

"India's image has grown taller in the world under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership," the Minister of State for Minority Affairs said.

"The government is often accused..., your duty is to hit back at the opposition with solid contentions and reach out to the media and finally public," he told the spokespersons.

He said that the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has launched a number of important schemes for public welfare.

"It is your duty to ensure that people reap the benefits of these schemes," Naqvi added.

He asked party's media managers not to get affected by the opposition's allegations as they have become devoid of issues.

However, the Minister called upon the spokespersons to vehemently take on the opposition's falsehood campaign aimed at the NDA government as it completes its first year in office.
