NDRF team to help rescue ops in building collapse; HM condoles

A team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) officials has reached the site in North Delhi, where 10 people were killed after a building collapsed, to help the administration in rescue operations.

The team was sent following a directive of Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who was closely monitoring the situation.

The Home Minister condoled the loss of lives due to building collapse and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.

Ten people including five children and three women were killed while two others were injured when a 50-year-old dilapidated four-storeyed building collapsed in a congested area in North Delhi.
 

The injured are recuperating in hospital, police said.
