IT services firm NEC India today announced the appointment of Koichiro Koide as its Managing Director, effective immediately.
He replaces Partho Das Gupta.
Koide brings with him over 20 years of international sales and business operations experience at NEC.

In his previous roles at NEC , he worked as Group Manager overseeing international sales and operations for China and Asia Pacific and Chief Delegate of the firm's Delhi office.
"Koides vast experience leading international teams successfully across Asia leaves us no doubt that his new appointment will play a pivotal role in helping NEC achieve greater presence in the rapidly growing Indian market," NEC Asia Pacific CEO Toshiya Matsuki said.

Navigant Technologies wins Indraprastha Gas Ltd's contract * Outsourcing solutions firm Navigant Technologies today said it has been won a multi-crore contract by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) for the National Capital Territory (NCT) and National Capital Region (NCR).
IGL is a leading city gas distribution company. As on March 31, 2013, the company provided piped natural gas (PNG) connection to 3.9 lakh and 1,382 industrial and commercial users.
IGL has awarded the contract to Navigant Technologies for providing 24X7, end-to-end telephonic support, both inbound and outbound to its PNG users in the NCT & NCR region.

Getit to provide search services to Malaysia's Maxis Berhad * Local search and classifieds provider Getit today said its search services have gone live in Malaysia, in partnership with Maxis Berhad, Malaysia's leading communications services provider.
Getit has developed a model wherein it partners with Telcos in international markets to enable a host of services on their networks including local search, classifieds, deals/ discounts and eventually e-Commerce.
FINDIT in Malaysia is the first of Getit's international launch and it is already set to be Malaysia's largest digital directory service.

Rays Power Infra sets up olar park in Andhra * Rays Power Infra has set up its second solar park in the state of Andhra Pradesh, the total power generation capacity of which is envisaged to be 25 MW.
The solar park is spread over a vast area of 125 acres and will generate approximately 15.5 lakh units per annum per MW of installed capacity. The total capacity envisaged is 25 MW, Rays Power Infra said in a statement.
The solar park will offer clients facilities and ready-to-use infrastructure, approach roads and pooling substation to develop solar power plants of any capacity from 1 MW onwards, the statement said.
