While making policy decisions the governments should address the issues related to farmers and marginalised sections of the society on priority basis, former BJP President Nitin Gadkari said today.

Speaking at a function here, Gadkari said there was a need for positive thinking among politicians so that politics can be used as a mean to serve underprivileged sections.

"There is a need to think about poor, farmers and under privileged and devise policies accordingly. Political workers should do constructive politics for the welfare of people in need," he said.

Veteran BJP leader Mahesh Sharma was among others present at the function.
