Addressing the convention, state agriculture minister H Liansailova urged the NEFF leaders to emphasise on marketing
Agriculture and horticulture products and also change traditional farming into more sustainable one.
"If we do not make agriculture as a sustainable livelihood, there is a danger that younger generation would completely abandon farming in the region," Liansailova warned.
The convention was held under the aegis of the All Mizoram Farmers Union (AMFU) to find better coordination between the farmer of the region.
