"The conference will deliberate on cutting edge science and technologies for continued and sustainable development," National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) director Dr Satish R Wate said.
Under the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) scheme, several researchers from India have visited Japan and done extensive research on various science disciplines and developed various technologies.
The researchers who visited Japan in JSPS scheme are now a part of Indian JSPS alumni association, Toyo University.
Recently, this Indo-Japanese scientific relationship completed 60 years and to mark the occasion, the international conference (sponsored by JSPS) has been organised, a NEERI release said.
