The National Eligiblity cum Entrance Test (NEET) for MBBS and BDS courses was today held in five centres in Kerala.
The examination was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the state capital, Kochi, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Kannur.
Students were allowed inside the examination centres after removing watches, jewellery and finger rings.

The examination is for 3950 MBBS and BDS courses in 33 MBBS colleges and universities in the state.
Most of the colleges are affliated to Kerala University. The result is expected on June 8.
About 52,305 MBBS and BDS seats are on offer nationally.
This year in all the seats of Medicine and Dental courses, admission will be made through NEET (UG) 2017.
Admissions will be made in All India Quota Seats, State Government Quota Seats, State, Management, NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical, Dental Colleges or any Private or Deemed University and Central Pool Quota Seats.
The examinations were conducted in 80 cities across the country.
