Neglect of public representatives by officials won't be

Asserting that "neglect" of public representatives by government officials will not be tolerated, Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi today said "strict action" will be taken against such officials.

"Neglect of public representatives by government officials will not be tolerated. They should be accorded full respect. If we receive complaints in this regard then strict action will be taken against such officials," Manjhi said.

Manjhi also asked the officials to inform public representatives about the progress in development works and welfare activities.

The Bihar Chief Minister was speaking at Purnia while reviewing development and welfare works, as well as, law and order situation in the division.
 

Social Welfare Minister Lesi Singh, Labour Resources Minister Dulal Chand Goswami, Backward Castes Welfare Minister Bima Bharti, MPs and MLAs of Purnia, Katihar, Araria and Kishanganj districts that come under Purnia division, as well as, top government officials including Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh and Director General of Police P K Thakur were present with the CM.
