Congress leader Sachin Pilot today accused the Rajasthan government and the administration of negligence in providing relief to flood victims in the state's southern region.
It is unfortunate that many people are still homeless and forced to sleep under the open sky in remote villages of Jalore and Sirohi districts, he claimed in a statement.
The state Congress chief said, "There has been negligence in providing relief to flood victims in southern parts of Rajasthan."
"Floods have destroyed houses and fields of people living in the region and the state government has abandoned them, and left them to fend for themselves," Pilot said.
He demanded that relief measures continue in flood affected regions till the situation is normal.
