Welcoming the diplomatic thaw between his country and the United States, Cuban Ambassador to India Abelardo Rafael Cueto Sosa today said it was a "long-term" process due to the "complexities" involved.
"The negotiations between the two countries is a long-term process. It is moving very slowly especially because of the complexity involved, however we are hopeful of something concrete," Sosa said at a press interaction at the Press Club of India.
Speaking on the bilateral ties with India, Sosa said, "I can term the relations with India as 'bonita' which means cute. There are lot of things we have in common and this relation should get stronger."
