The alleged surveillance of the two families related to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is just a tip of the iceberg of what former Prime Minister late Jawaharlal Nehru had done to hide facts about Netaji, National Secretary of All India Forward Bloc, V P Saini today claimed.

Saini, also President of 'Netaji Subhas Kranti Manch', told reporters that the hard fact was that right from August, 1945 onwards conspiracies were hatched at the national and international levels with the connivance of the top Indian political leadership, to suppress the facts and truths about Bose.

"Not only the members of Netaji's family, even the senior officers of INA, like Col Pritam Singh and the research scholars working on this subject were kept under surveillance for a pretty long time as Pandit Nehru really knew that Netaji had not died in the alleged air crash," he claimed.

He said that the Modi government has not taken any initiative so far to declassify the classified documents related to Netaji despite promises, he said.
