A Nepalese billionaire will construct 10,000 transitional homes for the earthquake victims here and has sought technical support from a non-profit organisation in India.
Chaudhary Group will construct 1,000 homes with its own resources and will partner with other donor organisations to construct remaining 9,000 homes in the next six months period, said Binod Chaudhary, chairman of the Chaudhary Foundation.
Chaudhary Foundation, belonging to Binod who is Nepal's first billionaire will construct, the flats with the technical support from Sustainable Environment and Ecological Development Society (SEEDS) India, which has experience in building low cost houses in India and other South Asian countries.

These house will be built in 14 districts across the country and they will abide by international building norms, he said.
Chaudhary Foundation will also help to restore 100 community-run primary schools in the affected areas.
