An Indian national, who was in the most wanted list of Nepal Police, was today killed in a police encounter in southern Nepal.
Sahasran Khan killed in the shooting incident in Bishnupura village of Rupandehi District this afternoon, Himalayan Times reported.
Three of his gang members also surrendered before the police. A pistol was seized from their possession.
Superintendent of Police Rajendra Dhakal said Khan was involved in some murder and robbery cases that had taken place in the district.
