Flamboyant former Nepalese crown prince Paras Shah has been hospitalised at a hospital here after suffering a heart attack, media reports said today. 42-year-old Shah was admitted to Samitivej hospital late last night. The hospital, however, refused to divulge details of the prince's health. In December, Shah was asked by a Phuket Court to report for a month's drug rehibilitation treatment at Bang Jo Prison in the resort town after being found guilty of possession of marijuana. He never made it to Bang Jo complaining of chest pains the following day and went to a Hospital in Phuket. Police then told him that an arrest warrant had been issued against him in Bangkok for smashing a hotel room in Sukhumvit area, causing two million baht (30 baht =1 USD) in damage. He was flown to Bangkok and taken to answer the charge.
