It was a dream come true for 18 orphan kids in Nepal when they took off on a flight over the Mount Everest, the world's highest peak.

This wonderful opportunity was provided to children of Bal Mandir by Yeti Airlines, the leading private airlines of Nepal, on its 16th anniversary to celebrate Children's Day.

"I hope it opens the closed eyes of other corporate and government houses. It will be nice experience for these children if everyone can chip in with whatever they can," said Tulsi Narayan Shrestha, Vice president of the Bal Mandir.

"I hope this change the way they look and perceive to life. We really want a world which listens to children's needs and we hope this event will act as a major ice breaker for Bal Mandir and the lovely kids," said Roshan Regmi, Marketing Manager of Yeti Airlines.

"I want to become a pilot one day and fly to Everest every day," said Suraj Joshi, one of the 18 children who boarded the flight yesterday.

"This was a dream come true for me. I had never thought I would board an aeroplane in my life," said another kid.

"We could see Everest very clearly. I had never been on a mountain flight and I am glad that I had my first experience with these wonderful kids. I wish these little ones all the best for the future," said comedian actor Hari Bansha Acharya, who was the special guest on the flight along with this wife.
