A 40-year-old Nepalese man has been apprehended at a Delhi Metro station for allegedly carrying a live bullet in his baggage, a senior official said Monday.

Ram Prasad, a native of Dharampur in Nepal, was found carrying a live round by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at the Jahangirpuri station when his bag was being scanned on Sunday, they said.

He could not furnish any license or document for carrying the bullet, he said.

He was handed over to the Delhi Police by the CISF team for further investigation.
