Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari today visited the famous Somnath and Dwarkadhish temples in Gujarat and offered prayers.
Bhandari, who is on a five-day visit to the country since Monday, arrived here this afternoon. At the airport, she was welcomed by Gujarat Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja and District Collector Vikrant Pandey.
Bhandari, later along with the members of a high-level delegation accompanying her, was driven to the Somnath temple in Gir-Somnath district.

The ancient temple, located on the shore of the Arabian Sea, is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
After offering prayers in the shrine, Bhandari visited Dwarkadhish temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, in Devbhoomi- Dwarka district before returning to Rajkot in the evening, said officials.
She later attended a banquet dinner hosted by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here. As per her official schedule, Bhandari would leave for Bhubaneshwar tomorrow.
