Nepali man held with heroin valued at Rs 23 lakh

A Nepalese national has been arrested with 110 gram heroin, valued at Rs 23 lakh in international market, from Shyamkout area on Indo-Nepal border here, a senior official said.

Vikram Sen Thakuri, who was on his way to Nepal, was arrested last night during a routine checking, Sashstra Seema Bal (SSB) Deputy Commandant Dilip Jha said.

The accused was handed over to the police and a case was registered against him at Sonouli police station, the SSB official added.
