A Nepali national was arrested near the Indo-Nepal border by security forces for allegedly possessing 112 grams of smack worth over 22 lakh, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) official said today.
A youth, identified as Ajay Chatri of Nepal, was arrested last night at Sonauli check post Indo-Nepal border with 112 gm smack worth nearly Rs 22.4 lakh in the international market, Commandent (SSB) B K Bankhothi said.
During the interrogation, the accused admitted that he had brought the smack from Nepal and also disclosed his links with drug smugglers in the India, he said.

The SSB have decided to take help of the Nepal police to trace out his links with other smugglers in both the countries, Bankhothi added.
A Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) was been registered against the accused at Sonauli police station.
