In a memorandum to the Meghalaya Governor R S Mooshahary, NESO handed over a list of 10 demands including repeal of AFSPA, resolving inter-state boundary dispute and halting construction of big dams.
"Discrimination against students of the North East studying in different parts of the country is one of the serious issues which have tormented us," it said.
