Comedy series "Grace And Frankie" has got a second season, which will premiere on Netflix in 2016.

The news was revealed on an FYC panel at the Pacific Design Center that included series co-creators and executive producers Marta Kauffman and Howard J Morris, along with series stars Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Martin Sheen, reported Deadline.

"Let me say, it's so awesome to do a show on Netflix because two and a half weeks after we launched, Miley Cyrus does a tweet about your show, and they call and say, 'We'd like to do a season two'. So yes, there is a season two. We have Ted and Miley to thank," said Kauffman, series co-creator and executive producer.

Fonda (Grace) and Tomlin (Frankie) star as two women, whose lives are suddenly turned upside down when their husbands reveal they are gay and leave them for each other.

Both sparring partners and partners-in-crime, they form an unlikely bond to face an uncertain future together and discover a new definition of 'family'.
