The body of a new born girl was recovered near Sarna canal here, police said today.
The body was discovered last evening by locals near the dry canal. They informed the police thereafter.
A case has been registered in this connection and the body has been sent for post-mortem to the local civil hospital, police said.
Officials added that investigation in the case is underway.
