Deputy Inspector General MV Pathak has taken over the Command of Coast Guard District No 4 which has its headquarters at Fort Kochi.
Pathak was the Commanding Officer of ICGS Sankalp, one of the biggest ships of the Indian Coast Guard prior taking over the present appointment, according to a release here.
His predecessor, DIG TKS Chandran has been appointed as the Officer- in- Charge of the Bureau of Naviks (BUVIK) at Mumbai.
