Justice Rakesh Ranjan Prasad was today sworn in as the new Chief Justice of Manipur High Court by Governor Najma Heptulla.
The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Raj Bhawan in Imphal attended by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh among others.
Justice Rakesh Ranjan later during an interaction with the media said that his priority would be to complete the pending cases in the High Court.
He said he would ensure that those who could not get proper justice due to financial problems were given assistance.
