Plans are afoot to adapt another Narnia book for the big screen.

TriStar, the Mark Gordon Company and Entertainment One will finance the adaptation of CS Lewis' "The Silver Chair" from his Chronicles of Narnia book series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It is not clear whether the cast members from the earlier Narnia movies will make a comeback in "The Silver Chair", whose story is set after the events of "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader", when Prince Caspian has become King Caspian.

In "The Silver Chair" Caspian's son, the prince, goes missing, leading Aslan the lion to send Eustace Scrubb and his boarding school classmate Jill Pope to find the missing royal.

David Magee, who has previously adapted "Life of Pi" and "Finding Neverland", will write the script.

The first Chronicles of Narnia film "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" released in 2005.

The next two films "Prince Caspian" and "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" were released in 2008 and 2010, respectively.
