P R Kumar today visited the Allahabad-based Red Eagle Division to review the operational readiness of the troops there.
Lt Gen Kumar exhorted the troops to ensure battle readiness at all times and expressed satisfaction over the efforts put in by one and all in the Red Eagle Division, Defence spokesperson, Allahabad, Wing Commander B B Pande said.
"The General Officer interacted with troops of the Red Eagle Division Artillery Brigade in which he emphasised on upholding the high standards nd values of the Indian Army," he said.
The One Strike Corps is based at Mathura.
Lt Gen Kumar advised all ranks to set goals in order to achieve the highest standards in both professional and personal fronts. He was also accompanied by his wife Mala Kumar who is also the regional President Army Wives Welfare Association.
Meanwhile, Lt Gen R S Pradhan incharge of the Army establishments in central Indian states visited the headquarters of Purva Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh Sub Area at Allahabad.
