wanted by Delhi Police in connection with over 15 cases of murder and robbery, was killed in a 20-minute shootout between his gang and police here. Mohan Chand was killed last night in Rohini area in north Delhi in a shootout between his associates and the police. Police said the firing started when the criminals attacked a police team that was chasing them. A senior police official said as soon as the criminals realised that they were being chase, they fired at police in which one police officer was injured. In the ensuing shootout, Chand was killed. The criminal was living in Narela and escaped the police net in Lodhi Road a couple of days back. Two of his associates managed to escape from the spot during the shootout.
