New Goa governor meets PM

Mridula Sinha, who recently took charge as the Governor of Goa, today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here.

Sinha, the former president of BJP's Mahila Morcha, was appointed as Governor of Goa in place of B V Wanchoo who had quit after the change of guard at the Centre.

Sinha called on Modi at his office.

She was sworn-in as Governor on August 31 and this was her first meeting with the Prime Minister after taking over.
