The Tamil Nadu Government today
posted senior bureaucrat Chandrakant B Kamble as Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Cement Corporation (TANCEM).
In minor reshuffle of IAS officers, the government also transferred and posted G Prakash, Director, Handlooms and Textiles, as Director of Municipal Administration, a temporary post for one year.
Kamble was Commissioner of Municipal Administration. C Kamaraj was holding additional charge as TANCEM Managing Director.
T N Venkatesh, Managing Director, TN Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society (Cooptex) will now hold full additional charge of the post of Director of Handlooms and Textiles vice G Prakash, the government order said.
