As per a circular issued here by Jammu's Divisional Commissioner Pradeep Gupta, working hours in state government offices located in Jammu division shall be observed from 10 AM to 4 PM.
The new timings will come into effect from October 1, the circular said.
The new timings come in the wake of changing weather. The summer timings of government offices from May one to September 30 were 8 AM to 2 PM.
