Punjab Aam Aadmi Party Youth wing President Harjot Singh Bains today said the breakaway group or any other newly-floated outfits will not make any dent in the party's support base, as the Arvind Kejriwal-led outfit was fighting against the ruling SAD-BJP and Congress in the state.

"AAP's fight was against the ruling SAD-BJP and Congress, not against any other group(s)," he said during a roadshow by the party against the drug issue and peasant's plight here.

Bains, who will be the AAP candidate from Sahnewal in the 2017 Assmebly elections, said "Our fight was for bringing in change in the political system and not for mere power".

He also denied that AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister was eyeing for the Punjab's CM post in case the party wins.

"Kejriwal has stated on more than one occasion that he was not eyeing for Punjab CM's post," Bains said.

On the issue of people from outside the state controlling the party affairs, he said "Look for yourself, today's roadshow was virtually an all-Punjabi show".

About Kejriwal's next visit to Punjab visit, Bains said he will visit state again soon and stay in Punjab for three months.

Earlier, addressing the roadshow, Bains said that AAP will win over 100 seats in the state assembly polls and form a government.
