Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said a new policy on the sale and purchase of agricultural lands would be introduced soon to make the transactions simpler and easier.
"Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has said that a new policy on the sale and purchase of the agriculture lands will be introduced soon so that no one ever needs to pay a rupee and run from the pillar to post around the offices," a release from his office said.
Rao held a meeting with ministers, officials and bankers on agriculture issues, it said.

"The CM wanted sanction of loans and other banking transactions (and) services should be done based on the new records in farmer friendly atmosphere," the release said.
"Since farm loans have been waived all over the state, the banks should give letters to farmers stating that their loans have been cleared," it said.
