New posts will be filled up soon: Gehlot

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today said vacancies for the newly-created posts for the secretariat like section officer, junior clerk and senior deputy secretary will soon be filled up.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the office-bearers of Secretariat Employees' Union, Gehlot assured better facilities and opportunities for the state employees.

100 posts of section officers, 150 of junior clerks and 25 posts of senior deputy secretaries were approved for the state secretariat.

Gehlot said in last over four years, over 1.60 lakh vacancies were filled up in the state against routine recruitment of 1.68 lakh, and about 10,000 jobs were given to dependents of the deceased government employees on compassionate grounds.
