New Pune-Kazipet superfast train to be introduced tomorrow

A new weekly superfast train between Pune and Kazipet in Telangana will be introduced tomorrow, the Central Railway (CR) said today.

The inaugural service will be flagged off by Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir, said a statement issued by the CR's Public Relations Department.

The weekly train (22151) will leave Pune at 9.45 pm every Friday and arrive at Kazipet at 6.35 pm the next day. On its return journey, the train (22152) will leave Kazipet at 1.35 pm every Sunday and arrive at Pune at 11.05 am the next day, it said.

The rain will halt at Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha, Warora, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Ramagundam and Peddapalli stations.
 

The coach composition of the train is - one each AC-2 Tier and AC-3 Tier compartment, four each sleeper and general second class coaches and two general second class-cum-guard's brake vans, said the statement.
