New Puri-Gandhidham weekly express train from October 11

In its bid to provide comfortable journey to the commuters, Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce a new weekly Express Train between Puri and Gandhidham, official sources said today.

On the inaugural run, this train will leave from Gandhidham on October 8, 2014. However, from Puri, this train will leave on every Saturday (11th October 2014).

Gandhidham-Puri Weekly Express Train will leave Gandhidham at 1930hrs on every Wednesday and will reach Puri at 1955hrs on every Friday.

In the return direction, Puri-Gandhidham weekly Express will leave from Puri at 0905hrs on every Saturday and will reach Gandhidham at 0930hrs on every Monday.
 

This train will have One AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tiers, 07 Sleeper Classes, 06 General Second Class Coaches and two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition.

This train will have stoppages at Sakshigopal, Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chhatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvatipuram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Kantabanji, Mahasamund in ECoR jurisdiction between Puri & Gandhidham. This train will also stop at Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Malkapur, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Amalner, Nandurbar, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Samakhiali and Bhachau stations enroute.
