New Zealand beat India by 15 runs

India loses number one ranking in ODIs after New Zealand defeated them by 15 runs in the rain-curtailed second one-dayer at Seddon Park, here today.

While chasing a D/L target of 297 in 42 overs, India made 277 for nine in 41.3 overs.

New Zealand lead the five-match ODI series 2-0.
