New Zealand recce team visits PCA Stadium

A recce team of the New Zealand cricket board visited the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) here today inspect the ground and practice facilities ahead of a One Day International (ODI) to be played against India here.

Ahead of the India - New Zealand 3rd One Dayer to be played at to be played here on October 23, a three-member New Zealand recce team visited the PCA Stadium, a PCA official said.

The team comprised of Catherine Anne Campbell, Henry Fenwicke Eisdell Moore and Ian David Snare. Two officials of the BCCI officials Sumeet Mallapurkar and Dheeraj Malhotra also accompanied the visiting New Zealand team.
 

The team held discussions with a PCA team lead by association Secretary G S Walia.

Superintendent of Police (SP), Mohali Ashwani Kapoor was also present at the meeting in connection with the security arrangements for the match, the spokesman said.

The team also took a round of the stadia and had a look at the ground and practice facilities.

The PCA spokesman said that the team expressed satisfaction at the various security and administrative measures envisaged by the association for the upcoming India - New Zealand One Day International Match.
