A newly married woman was found hanging at her in-law's house in Nangla Gujran area here, with her family members suspecting foul play, police said today.
Durga, who married Trilok against the wishes of her family members four months ago, was found hanging at her in-laws' home in Nangla Gujran area here, they said.
Sher Singh, the father of the deceased, however, claims that her daughter was murdered and accused her husband Trilok of involvement in the crime.
Saran SHO Hemant Kumar said the body will be sent for post mortem.
Kumar said further action will be taken after the autopsy report is available to the police and added that meanwhile a case has been registered in this connection.
